Wellness Support with Evan Brand Functional Medicine Clinic:

Evan, nor any of our practitioners, do not treat or diagnose any disease. Their work is to help support physical and chemical stress imbalances, with the goal of promoting wellness. Consulting with our practitioners does NOT create a “doctor-patient” relationship and they are not “treating” you.

Clients are seen via phone or virtual mediums like skype or facetime, need to realize there are physical limitations of not seeing someone in person. Due to these physical limitations, it’s important that a client has seen their primary care physician within the last year in person to rule out any disease pathologies as well assess any health issues that may be limited via a virtual setting.

During new client consultations, you will not receive a comprehensive health plan. Laboratory assessments will be required and recommended during this initial consultation to investigate your health concerns.

Information Resale

Aura Roots does not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease any personal information collected at our site, including membership forms or e-mail lists.

Website Data

Aura Roots analyzes our website logs to improve the value of our website. Our website logs are not personally identifiable, and we make no attempt to link them with the individuals that actually browse the site.

Email Privacy

Aura Roots maintains e-mail lists. To keep our customers and members informed. Individuals must affirmatively request to join our mailing lists. We do not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease the addresses on our list to anyone.

Policies

Privacy Policy

We respect your right to privacy. Any and all information collected at this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed. Any information provided to Aura Roots will be held with the utmost care, and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

Lab Read Fees

Any recommended lab test sourced outside of our clinic and brought back to us to review and base a protocol on will have a $199 lab read fee per test.

Late Fees

Unpaid invoices will have a $5 late fee per day added after 5 days of the invoice being sent. If you do not receive an invoice within 24 hours after your consultation, please email the office so you can confirm that you have received it. From time to time invoices may go to the spam folder, or an incorrect email address may be on file. It is the client’s responsibility to make sure they are receiving all of the office’s emails.

Payments

All payments must be made in U.S. dollars.

Methods of payment are Visa, MasterCard, HSA, Flex-savings, Discover or debit card, Digital Checks/eChecks, Venmo, and PayPal.

• Card payments are subject to a 3% convenience fee.

• Any fees PayPal deducts from the payment will be shouldered by the client. You can email our office for more information.

Return and Refund Policy

All sales are final and we do not accept returns for supplements and test kits. The only exceptions we can make are for those with manufacturing defects and wrong items being received.

• Only unopened items returned with prior authorization and proof of purchase within thirty (30) days of delivery will be accepted as returns.

• Restocking fee: Returns, authorized or unauthorized, are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

• Backorders: We do not automatically cancel backorders without a customer’s request; therefore it is the responsibility of the customer to cancel b Iackorders if delivery time is a factor. Any items returned because of length of time on backorder, will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.

• Unauthorized Returns: In the event of a package being returned due to the address not being found, an incomplete address, a wrong address, or the recipient not being available or reachable via their contact information we can either send it a second time via a different courier or give you a refund or a credit to be applied to a new order minus the 25% restocking fee and any courier fees associated with the return. The cost of the initial shipping is non-refundable. Packages refused by the recipient will result into a 25% restocking fee

We do not give refunds. However, for special cases (i.e. out-of-stock items, unused test kits, manufacturing defects, etc.), we may offer to credit the amount paid (minus the fees) and apply it to your next invoice. Credits are only good for 6 months.

The ingredients for our supplements are available on auraroots.com and, for non-Aura products, the ingredients list can be requested prior to purchasing. It’s the client’s responsibility to make sure there are no specific allergens in the supplements before they are shipped, the best time to address this is during a consultation. If products are sent and allergies are found after the fact, the above return policy applies.

Warranty Information and Defective Products 

Reports of products with manufacturing defects or order discrepancies must be communicated to Aura Roots within 72 hours of receipt to qualify for return/replacement.

Products Purchased from Re-Sellers 

• If you purchased an Aura Roots product from any resellers, then you must handle the return directly through them.

• All orders must be pre-paid.

• Prices are subject to change without notice.

Shipping and Handling

All ingredients for Aura Roots supplements can be found on auraroots.com and further information can be requested via email.

It is the client’s responsibility to make sure there are no specific allergens in the supplements before they are shipped, the best time to address this is during the supplement program design. If products are sent and allergies are found after the fact, our return policy applies.

• Orders are shipped by regular USPS, UPS, or FedEx ground unless faster delivery is requested.

• Extra charges apply for orders shipped to Hawaii and Alaska. Please call or e-mail if you have questions.

• For items coming from our warehouse, a tracking number will be sent by Aura Roots and/or our warehouse via email.

• International orders coming from our warehouse are shipped by FedEx as default or UPS if FedEx is not available or feasible. Please contact the office for any international shipment requests. If you require expedited shipping, e-mail for expedited worldwide shipping options.

• Items not coming from our warehouse will be dropshipped from their respective distributors/sellers/manufacturers and shall arrive in 3-7 business days. They may use USPS, UPS, or FedEx. We can send the tracking number upon request. For international orders that include such items, please expect a delay in the shipment of your order since we will have to wait for these items to arrive at our warehouse before we can ship everything out to you in one package.

• We shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or delay in delivery of the goods caused by the carrier or any other service provider. We can offer a 25% discount on a reorder.

• We are not responsible for any international fees, duties, and/or taxes you may incur.

• It is the recipient's responsibility to ensure the product can be legally imported to the destination country. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information.

The Programs may include, “guides”, “protocols” and “online courses” related to health.

The Services may include a “blog” and “podcast” through which Website Users can receive information regarding supplements, testing, diet, and various products related to health, as well as “consultations” with practitioners.
